Excited to play this with our eight year old daughter! Kristi B on Dec 2, The game is fun, and it also helps you learn. It isn't just facts, but you need to find and remember where states are located and which ones are close to each other. Some parts of the game are irrelevant, which makes it wacky and fun.

Laura on Jul 28, It would not be ideal for reading to large groups and won't hold up to repeated use or being stored on a bookshelf, but it's perfectly readable if you want to read with your own children before playing the game. A miniature version still readable, but small is included. My kids love this game! A small booklet with the story is included with the game.
Yes the picture book is included in the game. We did get the picture book in our game. Yes but it is a small paperback. Can you make this game work with non-readers? User on Dec 4, Someone would have to read everything on each card to the child, and that inhibits the flow of the game significantly. If I was buying the game for older kids, I would certainly find a way to involve youngers in playing, but I would not buy it just for a 4 and 6 year old.
Yes, but not independently. You would need a reader to announce what they are looking for. Some clues also ask them to find capitals that begin with a certain letter, so they would need to have letter recognition. My non readers love this game - they do need some help from their older brothers, but we play the slower version where everyone that has a card that matches gets it rather than the speed version.
Yes, our non-readers play along, too. Sometimes we have a reader on their team to help them out or we just play a "slow" version. It's a really fun game! I would say no unless you are helping them.
We play with our 5 year old but I tell him which card to call out. Questions For Similar Products. Review More Purchases My Posts. Rated 5 out of 5. Super fun and educational! Gameplay is the perfect length for my 7yo and 11yo's attention spans, and my 4yo loves the book the game is based on but she doesn't play since she can't read yet. We had to tweak the rules to make it fair for my 7yo who just started reading recently, but they love to play and would choose it every day if I let them.
