I just found this website review of the software and it could have saved me a lot of heartache this past week had I read all the reviews beforehand. I plan to be an avid reader from this point forward! I "sadly" have to agree with some of the comments I have read below regarding the problems with Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security I have been running the version on all 3 of my home computers since March, and recently installed the upgrade. I finally ended up having to restore an Acronis True Image backup of my entire C: drive just to make everything work again the backup had version on it.
Last night I worked with Tech Support from Trend Micro via online chat an excellent resource from Trend Micro and did a clean uninstall using a special PCCTool program they sent me via email, and a "clean" installation of using latest build Obviously, the QA team at Trend Micro "really" needs to work on this new version based upon my own personal experience and from what many others have posted here.
I am still sticking with PC-cillin, but will wait until they have the new version fully debugged before trying it again I'm confident they will work out the bugs over time. However, if you are considering buying , and can still buy a copy of I recommend doing that versus purchasing you can always upgrade later.
